Terms of use

Last updated 2 November 2026

These terms cover the website chmr.app, its waitlist and early access to the Chimera app, the private web app we open to early-access users. By using the site or the app, you agree to them. When we give you access to the app, we send you these terms with your sign-in details, and by signing in you accept them. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy policy.

Who we are

Chimera is run by Ilia Mikheev, as an individual, from Cyprus. It is not yet a registered company.

Who can use Chimera

You must be 18 or older and use Chimera for your work.

The website

The site describes what Chimera does today. We may change it at any time.

The examples on the site show the agent’s real work on public information about real companies. Those companies are named only as the subject of facts. They are not our partners or customers, and their names and trademarks belong to them.

The waitlist

You join the waitlist when you open the link in the email we send you. Joining doesn’t promise access or a date. We’ll write when we open seats. You can leave the list at any time.

Early access to the app

  • Access is by invitation. Your account is for you only. Don’t share your password: we set it and send it to you privately, and we’ll change it whenever you ask.
  • The app is at an early stage. Features may change, break or go away.
  • There is no service level. We don’t promise that the app will always be available, or that the agent will catch every change.
  • We may pause, limit or end your access at any time, for example if you break these terms or if we change or stop early access. Where we can, we’ll tell you first.
  • You can stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your account.
  • Early access has no paid plan. If we ever offer one, it will come with its own terms, and you’ll accept them before anything is charged.

What the agent reads

The agent reads public pages. It doesn’t log in, solve CAPTCHAs or disguise itself, and a site that shuts it out can go unread.

When the agent looks for new pages on a site by itself, it follows the site’s robots.txt, the file where a site tells robots where not to go. A page you add by hand is read even if robots.txt asks robots to stay away. That choice is yours.

What you’re responsible for

  • The addresses you add. Add only public pages you’re allowed to follow. You’re responsible for the URLs you add, and for checking that following them doesn’t break the law or the site’s own terms.
  • Companies, not people. Don’t use Chimera to follow private individuals or to collect personal data about people. Don’t add pages that sit behind a login.
  • What you write. Don’t put sensitive information or other people’s personal data into your product profile or your case questions.
  • Fair use. Don’t try to break, overload or copy the app, and don’t resell access to it.

We may stop reading a page or a site, for example if its owner asks us to.

The agent’s work

The agent’s findings and conclusions are written with AI, and they can be wrong. The agent marks a hypothesis as a hypothesis, and only you can mark a conclusion as confirmed. Check important facts on the source page before you act. Nothing the agent writes is legal, financial or other professional advice. Decisions are yours.

Content

  • Yours. What you add stays yours. You allow us to store and process it to run the app for you, as described in the Privacy policy.
  • Other sites’. Copies of competitor pages belong to their owners. We keep them to show you what changed. Use them for your own analysis, and don’t republish them.
  • Ours. The site, the app and the agent belong to Chimera. You may use the agent’s write-ups inside your business.

Liability

We provide the site and the app as they are and as available. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or decisions made on the basis of the agent’s work. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can’t be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new date. If a change matters for app users, we’ll tell them by email first.
